A poetry slam is a dynamic and competitive event where poets present their original spoken-word pieces. They are judged by a panel of audience members drawn at random; making it an interactive and engaging experience. The slam fosters a creative space where poets can express themselves and connect with others.

After buying your ticket complete the google form to register for slam entry

We do have an open mic that is on a first come first serve basis. This starts the show prior to the slam.

Slams usually occur on a monthly basis leading up to the “Southern Fried Poetry Festival.”
